Key Takeaways

Have you ever tried to herd cats? If you have, you know it doesn’t work well since cats never want to do what you want them to do. However, if you fill their bowl with a little bit of food, somehow, they always come running!

You learn that when you chase after some things in life, nothing happens. But when you refocus and allow those things to come to you, good things can happen. Money operates this way. Unfortunately, it’s not well understood by people that if you chase after it, you won’t get it. If you set yourself up so that money comes to you, it can come to you very easily.

When you are looking at where you want your money to be, what you want it to become, you have to stop thinking about what you want your money to do for you, and start thinking about doing something practical. For example, you can think about how you can provide some kind of value to someone, some place, or something. Perhaps it’s at your regular job, or maybe at a side gig, or some other avenue. What will happen is that money will be naturally attracted to that value you bring.

It’s a matter of upping your game to get greater value out to the world. That will automatically attract money back to you. However, it’s not a one-for-one kind of thing, it doesn’t work exactly like that. It’s a bit like a cat. Over time, it will be attracted to you. It can be hard to get your arms around it, and I think that’s why many people have a tough time with it. Hence, they try to chase after it, and it seems to allude them and run away, just like herding cats!

This is something you really have to think about and delve in to your own psyche to figure out how to switch that way of thinking. To stop chasing money and start looking to add more value to the world to attract money. It’s probably a different role than you are used to, so it takes time to change your thinking. But once you’ve switched that way of operating and you find ways to add value, you’ll start to attract the money you are looking for.

Until next time, enjoy!
