It was a busy year, to put it mildly. If you were to only listen to news outlets, 2018 may have sounded like the end was near! However, a lot of good things happened, as they always do. They may not have all been news headliners, but people around the world were not only doing good things, they were searching for the good in the world as well. Google released a poignant video for their annual “Year in Search,” which you can view here, along with their top search trends for the year. One of the biggest trends they found were people searching for good things going on in the world.
As we look back at 2018, try to think of all the good that occurred in your own life, and in the lives of those close to you. As we enter 2019, if it looks like the news is nothing but doom and gloom, take a look at your own town, your own neighborhood, your workplace. People are doing good things every day, wherever you are—you just have to take the time to stop and look for it!
